well....... just back from a great 2 weeks in cornwall & wales & got the usual back home blues.  went for a wee run to the dealers yesterday & the most perfect caravan was waiting for us.

so, we went back today with our abbey & did the deal.  we are now the proud owners of a swift challenger 500se 2004.

we are picking her up next weekend, it will be a long week.

any opinions please on this particular caravan?

Big congrats a new van is exciting, we got our second van a few months ago just by going to the dealers, we only popped in for a gas bottle!! Dangerous places them dealers lol

Oh it's fatal, we cant drive past a dealers without going for a nosy, and we're perfectly happy with our van really.

Just a word of warning.

'Soggy Swift' is the name banded about in dealer circles as they seem to have a reputation for letting in the wet stuff.

Be sure to get a damp meter and have a good shufty round.

Yes our 2006 Swift has recently been diagnosed with the dreaded "D" word, caught early but costing £600 to repair.  Hopefully  under warranty, but still arguing on that one!!
