What's best to go with ground sheet wise? We've errected our awning on our Bailey Ranger 550/6 for the first time and realised (DOH!!) we have no ground sheet

I have a carpetina too and am really pleased with it. It doesn't go into our annnex just covers the awning floor. I use an inner tent which haas a solid waterproof bottom.

The carpetina is very breathable, but has a tight enough weave that there are no worms or casts able to squeeze through as they can on those with a more open texture.

It's perhaps worth mentioning that (as far as I know) none of the breathable ground sheets are 100% waterproof. I pitched ours in the dry, but then it poured with rain overnight and the water came through the carpet when we walked on it. Dried extremely quickly once the standing water drained away.

I use 'Cling on's' along the edge to enable me to peg the carpet down without making holes in it.

We use THIS

Its super lightweight and takes seconds to put down, and comes with nice edging to finish it off.

I have a pvc groundsheet for when the ground is muddy on sites which allow them and an openweave breathable one that i use on top of it like a carpet, or on its own on a dry pitch.
I got them from breathable groundsheets ukand I bought the breathable o from their special offer seconds range , much cheaper than elsewhere and no faults on it that I can see.

How big an area do you need to cover? I've just put a piece 3m x 2m on ebay.
