Hi, I just bend the hooks of the hangers,so it is tight fit to go on rail, for the trousers I use one of those four trouser rail hangers that has rubber strip on each rail,bend hook on that too, no cloths have fallen off since,not even on bumpy roads.

Have never had a problem with clothes falling off rail

We simply alternate which way the hangers go over the rail

We too put pipe lagging on the rail and everything stays where its supposed to.
