I always make mine do their wees & poos behind our caravan before we go to the dog walk so I can pick it up easily & put water on the wee to stop it staining, it's much better than them stooping outside someone elses van.
We usually put up a windbreak yard so that our neighbours don't have to watch them whilst eating their brekkie!
I think they expect that sometimes there will be accidents and that is why, in addition to telling you not to let your dog it, they also have notices saying pick up after it.

They don't tend to mess in their own areas though may have a little wee or two. As above just walk qucikly to dog field and never let off the lead until you are in.
Never allow mine to do anything other than on the dog walk or on a walk out of the site! A firm no, short lead and briskly walking along the road instead of the grass helps. But I think most people would be sympathetic to the odd accident if you clean up.
As long as you pick it up it's not a problem, luckily apart from once my old girl goes on the walk, but try as I might in the morning she won't wait for her wee and always goes behind the van, but I wash it down so as not to stain the grass.
Why bother to reply to a thead just to say its all ready been covered, dont read it!, iam sure judging by the number of replys its of some use to members!
we take are dog and she will not make the dog walk, just clean it up, as for the pee there is not a lot you can do about that.
Well you could try hooking the handle of a bucket over the base of his tail or if it really bothers you, put them in nappies until you get to the dog walk.
I don't treat a caravan site any differently to my village green where I walk my dogs every day. I carry poo bags and use them. I rarely use Dog Walks as I find that those who do exercise their dogs there, rarely lift their dog's poos. I don't know why but they don't. I prefer to execise my dogs off site.
As to urine staining the grass, well this does not happen with every dog and it very much depends on the dog's diet as to whether it's urine is so high in nitrogen that its urine will burn the grass. By the by, you never see urine burnt grass in Cow, Sheep and Horse fields, where the animals are piddling in gallons as oposed to my two whose piddles are measured in egg cups
most of mine will perform when told its a simple matter of every time they go say what ever word you want them to know for tollet and then reward with the same word as soon as they ahve done it thye graduly go on comand 99% of the time which gets you to the dog walk

It's nice to be important but its more important to be nice
We've trained ours to wait until we reach our dog walk at home. Because we live within houses we didn't ever want them to do it when only a short walk from home is the fields where everyone walks their dogs. So we trained them from young to wait a few minutes. I never thought of actually getting them to "go" when i want them to though :)
