We are back after 2 fantastic weeks in our brand new van.

when we were taking down the awning we noticed white sticky sealant on the canvas part in one corner. When we checked the van this one corner was all very sticky as if melted or not dried.

Is this a problem or normal? Obviously it is still under warranty etc so any advice on what if anything to do greatly appreciated

hi, No mastic or sealant should 'melt', if yours is watery then it needs replacing and soon. I'm a retired joiner and sometimes when we had to use mastic or silicone sealent it would run watery from the dispensing gun , we asked the manufacturers and were told it had degraded in the tube as it has a shelf life. Hope this helps.
