Our 1st trip across water!
a bit of an adventure really,
Due to circumstances of work etc getting there was a bit of a trial of endurance, left Dundee 8pm Friday evening, arrived Holyhead 4am
Stena across to Dublin, much cheapness thanks to Tesco vouchers (£80 return), both ships were excellent and included free wifi (kids were very pleased)
short trip to Camac Valley camp site about 5 miles from downtown Dublin, an excellent site (review submitted)
Loads to do, far more than we could squeaze in, I suspect next summer will be a return trip
Weather was fab!
what we have learnt
The Irish are a great bunch of folks, helpful and friendly (until they get into their cars)
You can get sun burnt in Ireland
Dublin is a bit mad
The C5 makes a fine stable long distance tow car but needs a bit more grunt
On the whole had a great time and certainly recommend the Camac Valley site to anyone considering Dublin
