Hi need some quick help OH has rung and his friend has moved into a house that has an old caravan in the garden and he wants it moved, OH said he would move it if he could, all we know is it's a twin axle and it says Argll or Argyl on it, what make is it and have you ever heard of one , the reason being my friend is doing up her old van and has been offered any usuable bits on it, but we can't find this vans name or anything about it, it is old though, any help or ideas welcome.

Sounds like a Robin Argyll, made around 1981 - 1983. It had fixed bunks in a separate room in the rear offside corner and was very well equipped for its day. My mates wife's family had one from new.

It was very similar to the Bessecarr Cameo of the time.

Robin went out of business in 1983, though they'd been around since the 60's.
