We have a Pyramid Corsican Awning with a tall annex which zips on to either side of the awning. We have just been away to Dorset for the week and hoped to use the annex but we had trouble with the poles. We have no instructions as as it all came with the van. The actual awning went up no problem and we had poles left over. But could not work out how the poles went seemed there was some missing. It is a tall annex. If anyone out there could point us in the right direction on how to erect the annex either a diagram or actual instructions i would be really grateful as i`m sure it must be so simple

how big is your awning - we have the 1000 pyramid corsican awning and we have extra poles for the roof / front (so 5 of each in total) plus veranda bars.

The tall annexe poles should come with the annexe and not the awning. If you google Pyramid awnings there are video clips on their website. We got a DVD with our awning that shows all.

Hi no the awning is not as big as that. Like i said we have sorted the awning no problem. We were given the annex along with the awning, we have a number of poles left over we have veranda bars also but still dont no what poles go where for the annex. We also have a dvd but only shows awning guide not an annex. Cant seem to find any videos on there website either

Hi cathy , do you have an apex roof on the annex or a flat roof?
If its an apex type you usually have an A shaped frame at the back or the annex and one central roof pole that attaches to the main awning frame with a clamp.

When I was trying to put an annex together with no instructions I thought I was short of poles because I was thinking there should be side roof poles on the annex too.
Once I realised there was only a centre roof pole it all became clear. the centre roof pole on mine had a bend in it where it attaches to the frame as well because the annex was lower than the awning roof.

On the flat roof type you may have side roof poles for the annex like in this diagram for a dorema annex, also shows the bend in the centre pole I referred to earlier.
Hope this gives you some idea how yours might work
