We have been looking at awnings today and are struggling between the following:
Brand new Outdoor Revolution Vermont - steel poles - I really like the size 320 x200 and the blue graphite/sand -seems pretty sturdy for our September-April weekenders & short breaks comes with storm straps around £500
OR
USED Isabella Magnum awning again good dimensions, obviously a superior awning built for the worst winters - for £500 probaby 2-3 years old.
Go for the Isabella, I am sure you will never look back. We had an Isabella Minor for a number of years, and deeply regret selling it and buying a lightweight awning.
------------- It's not what you take when you leave this world behind, it's what you leave behind when you're gone
if you were sure the isabella awning was in good nick you cant go wrong with that, but if you want the peace of mind that you have comeback should anything go wrong its up to you ,isabella is a good make we had one and it was a hardy awning, dont really know the other one but im sure it is a good one as well, and you do have the added protection of maybe a warranty
I think i'd go for the Isabella one as they have a great reputation for being the best quality. I looked at the outdoor revolution one but can't see what its made of? It looks as if it's made from the same stuff as full size awnings but i'm not sure. Have you seen it in the flesh and felt the material? If the material is good quality then you would have peace of mind of buying new with a guarentee.
isabella is a good make but heavy outdoor revolution is newer but equally has a good reputation lighter you pays yer money depends what you want it for winter - then go for isabella goin g to use it loads then isabella if not to be used a lot if not to be used in rough weather the outdoor revolution will probably suit
Thank you for your advice - we went for the Isabella and are now proud owners of an immaculate 2007 Magnum with IXL poles & paid loads less than we expected can't wait to give it an airing next week!!
