Has anybody a solution to caravan windows that are "hazy", not deeply scarred or scratched, just a general hazy look to them.
The front one is the worst - looks as if the caravan has been parked for a couple of months on the edge of a beach - with a gale blowing for most of the time !
I've tried the usual "Windowlene" type cleaner but not a lot of joy.
hi yes t,cut or even a slightly abrazive polish . some of the trade polishes come with a very slight cut in them . i use autosmart . autoglm do one as well. use a good mutton cloth to put it on and anice flannalette rag to take off . will remove quite deep scratches and scrapes as well. also you may find motor bike shops have one for plastic windscreens . snap-on do a really good one for plastic windows ask in a local garage to get you some comes in a blue box . lent mine out so cant get the name of it. cheers alan.

Wah that sounds scary ! I'd be inclined to think it might make them even worse. I might well be completely wrong though. Still frightened to try it though. Mine are hazy too. What a pity they had to change from glass windows to these rubbish plastic ones.

i have a broken window i practice on with any material or cleaner.TCUT has been fine for removing deep scratches and leave it slightly dull and then i use the fenwicks to bring it back to shine.toothpaste is gentle on your teeth and minimal abrasion action.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

again agree with Michael, we bought this it's a bit pricey, but my dear OH the first time we took out van out dropped the awning pole and it scratched the kitchen side window, it got it out a treat, so he did the front windows as they had a few scratches and it's all gone.
