Michael and Markfree

We didn't owe anything on Honey either.  It was just the cost of servicing and insuring her that was over £500 a year that we couldn't afford with dh not working.  When we were both working there was no problem with it but with dh not working we were slowly getting further and further into debt

i was not questioning your reasons sorry if i gave the wrong impression.i was just trying to say that whatever caravan you have on site there are those that think there caravan is much better.

LOL Michael

Mine WAS the best lol.  But then doesn't everyone think the same of theirs whatever its age?

We started off in a tatty old tt and had the whole campsites kids in it lol and then moved onto a 30 year old then a 20 year old caravan so i couldn't be a snob about my 'van even if i wanted to lol.

I never get offended by any post cos i know that it is not meant to cause offense but sometimes when i write something it can seem as if i am causing offense but its not meant in that way lol

Ashwellgirl, the advantage of a trailer tent over a tent is that you can remain a member of the Caravan Club & continue to go to Grafham Water. (If I have got you confused and you don't frequent Grafham Water then appologies!!!)

Blimey Mark i thought my caravan was expensive just to sit there yours must cost a fotune lol.  If that has come out sounding offensive then i apologise but i can't help thinking it lol.

But like i say when we were both working having the caravan didn't cost as much because we both wanted it and could afford it AND still go away in it.  But when we couldn't afford to go away in it then there seemed no point in keeping her :(

Who knows what the future may bring :)

Erm, should I tell you that we've be away in it 8 nights this year and it's now sitting at the storage site ready for next summer :D

I haven't quite got the use out of it that I was expecting this year, but should be better next year.

Mark.

Yes that is me :)  Though i put that down in hope rather than actually going lol.  We never did go in the end.  That was part of the reason we got rid of the 'van, we just weren't using it :(  So another £39 wasted lol

I think you should stop right there Mark cos if you do the sum's you might come to realise, like we did, that it's a costly business lol

So you need to stop reading this post and eliminate it from your mind, i suggest you look at what site's you fancy for next year and don't go working out any sum's lol
