Hi

I have tried searching for this but nothing came up, most likely putting incorrect search words in, however we are having a new car with removable tow bar, the car comes with a multiple pin socket, can any one point in the direction of a twin conversion lead please if such one is available.

do you mean you have a 13 pin socket and need the y lead to convert to 2 7 pins,

I have standard leads on van, we havent got the car yet, just been told its a single socket on car so need conversion lead.

if thats what your after, you will just need to make sure this one will do your fridge to, as some of the cheaper ones only did the basic lights.

but if you only have a single 7 pin on the car, you will need to have the 12s 7pin socket and wiring added torun fridge.

We have one of the other converters - two sockets on the car, one new socket on the van.  These converters are readily available from caravan spares stockists.

For the same price you could get a 13pin plug wired to your caravan and never have connection problems again

We tow with 2 cars, we have the standard sockets on the first car.So would mean having this car converted to new type as well.Just easier and less hassle to buy a lead conversion. But thanks for replying anyway.
