Hello, we are on the look out for a caravan with fixed bunks, preferably not too heavy or expensive! I have come across this one that has the layout we are looking for but can;t find out anything about Sterkeman caravans. Can anybody help? We are also considering the Adria Altea 542 or a Bailey discovery 400. Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks, Marie. (PS we will be totally new to caravanning- we currently have a TT but fed up with taking it down in the rain!).

Bear in mind that the door will be on the wrong side, which can be an issue on some sites. You may find you have to park "nose-in" so that the awning is on the right side for spacing etc.
Personally, with your choices I would go for an Adria but then it's down to your own preference. The Adrias are not too expensive and have good, moder interiors and are built for the UK. Plus, you don't see quite as many around unlike Bailey.

Thanks, we haven't managed to find a Adria locally for us to look at yet. I don;t really mind if the door is on the wrong side as will mostly use it in France and this summer plan to go to Holland.

We never have had a problem with ours either! And we use CC sites when in UK!

Thanks, that looks the perfect caravan for us but a 4.5hour drive away to view. We went to see the Sterckeman today and it's a little battered so the search continues!
