Just back from a lovely weekend away and was wondering how many people are already booked up for next year, or when most people book?
This year I was relatively organised (for us) and booked Easter, May Half Term and Summer at the beginning of the year, it is weekends away that I tend to leave to the last minute. However unlike when we used to go away pre-kids in our little tents when you could ring on the day, it isn't quite like that in a large twin axled caravan so I must get organised.
Lots of sites are going to close soon, so I feel I should be thinking about next year...so when do you all book?
CC open for bookings for 2011 on 8th December and the C&CC on the 4th November. With CC you can still book up to 16th March 2011 now.

Never normally bother, but this time we've booked in for a rally near St Malo in May, and a Festival near Nantes in August where we are performing.
We've even managed to find somewhere to keep the van in France between the 2 events, so that has reduced our costs somewhat.
we know when our first week away is going to be and want to try and book it in december, have at least booked it off work though so got my priorities sorted!!! :)
I booked a CS last week for next Easter. The reviews on here were brilliant, I fancied trying out the area and it ticked all the boxes. I reckoned with it only taking 5 units I would be taking a chance if I waited. Booking was taken.
For 2011 I've booked 3 CC sites in Jan, Feb and March plus a ferry and a site in Holland in June and a ferry in Sept. My 2011 spread sheet is starting to look nice and colouful ! Sad isn't it !
We've decided for our main hols - a week at Blackmore CC&C site end of May half term so need to wait til 4th Nov to book that. Then we'll have our main two & a half weeks in France in August mainly at Soleil Plage (Dordogne) where we've reserved a pitch but can't pay deposit & confirm til their 2011 prices are fixed in December. Also waiting for my Tesco vouchers to arrive to book the Chunnel.
Weekends we tend to book later once we know what OHs shifts are like.
I had our 2011 holidays fully booked up by early September - so many places we want to go but not enough time!! I always book early but its just as well because Im pretty specific - but I must be doing something right as we've never had a bad pitch or site yet in tent or caravan (touching wood). I booked Polmanter about 3 days after they opened for 2011 bookings and was shocked by how many pitches were taken already and that was early July I think.
Yes were booked for Easter may day spring bank just got august to do. But think were going some where different so still waiting for her who must be obeyed to give me th nod lol
