I went to my first C&CC rally this summer and loved it.
Everyone was really friendly and came over for a chat and to take pictures of Holi-van!!

Only cost £10 for the 2 nights for 2 of us at Ellerton Lake which was lovely.

Planning to do a lot more Meets and Rallies next year with the C&CC and the CC.

I usually go to rallies & never had any issues, ok some of the sites can be quite bleak with no amenities but I have been to some where there has been showers swimming pools etc. I guess it depends on where you go. Some stewards & members do have their gatherings & do their own thing but I've never felt pressured in joining in as that's usually left up to ourselves. I've always found most to be very friendly too. I definitely recommend them.

We rally with the Swift Owners Club. They hold rallies virtually every weekend of the year so there is always something available. Yes, there are committees but there is no obligation to become involved if you dont want to. Personally, Im not a "committee" type person but thank goodness there are those that are. No organisation can manage without them and its great that there are people willing to give their time to running them or there would be no rallies for anyone. We enjoy rallying as its an opportunity to meet with like minded people and visit new places without feeling isolated by strangers.
