if you noticed black marks last year do you still think it is worth putting the cover on ?
we have just put our cover on this is the first time we have used one . but i must admit i was unsure after reading all the write ups on here for and against using covers . i have put some crytals in the van and i will be checking quite often. but i am worried .
do you check the van in the winter . if i notice any problems at all the cover will be taken straight off.
Used one last year with no windows or vents open, with no problems, and just put it's cosy on this year but just cracked the windows to the first catch.
you should go and open up the van at least a couple of times during the winter if its a nice dry sunny day go and have a cuppa in the van open all the windows and let the dry air run through for a bit, cold air is dryer than warm air.
We used a cover last year and it kept it dry and clean. You must make sure your cover is breathable though. We closed it up but went in occasionally on sunny days to check it out. We also left crystalls in over winter. We had a folding camper for a number of years before we changed to a caravan and we used a cover on that and had no problems with damp at all.
