The loose-fit carpets in our 2008 Swift Coastline 540 (SE Charisma) were looking jaded and the pile compressed and spoiling the look of the caravan interior. We recently found a chap in Exeter who makes replacements. He can provide carpet off cuts or you provide your own. Take your old carpets to him he'll copy the pattern and bind the edges to make new ones. The carpet offcut was £20 and the cutting and binding £40 (roughly a £1 per foot). He even made up a couple of slip mats from the excess carpet.

There are obviously a few people like that dotted around. In MK we have a company called Bind a Rug at Crownhill who will do the same. Although we have not used them for caravan carpets they did make a couple of slip rugs to protect the bedroom carpet at home.

In our van we have always used extra rugs on top of the original carpets which also help protect the original.
