I have a Carver 3000s heater and the front cover leaves a lot to be desired. Does anyone know if I can purchase a new cover for this heater? Also, I have read that it is a re-badged Truma 3002, does anyone know if that is true, and would a front panel for one of these fit?
Truma took over Carver around the turn of the century, as to whether a 3002 Truma will fit a 3000 Carver I can't tell you but I know a man that would be able to...

------------- Caravanning is a way of getting a cheap holiday out of an expensive hobby
The Carver SPL3002 and 3000 are basically a Truma 3002, so yes a Truma front will fit, albeit, you will need the back surround as the catches are different.
Or, I don't know if Truma still produce their 'retro' Curved front to fit the old back, in which case it's a simple direct replacement.
Either way, you'll need a Truma Control rod as well
petpin and Gary,, you can stiil get the curved front for the SPL 3002,in brown or grey,Truma UK wont deal with you direct so you have to find one of thier suppliers not cheap though £63.97 inc Vat,have a look here on page 18.
petpin,,I think Brayford Leisure are agents for them near you,Tel 01522 686996 but if you go to their site there is a deal finder

------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
Thanks Pete,
I made a mistake, I originally said 3000S, I meant 3000 so I've edited my first post, the 'S' version is an all Carver fire which took over from the 3000 in 1994.
So I know the 3000/3000S fire fronts are 'near' identical but not 100% sure they are interchangeable as the piezo igniter is in the control rod on the 3000S. This may present a problem?
