The towing mirror that we used on our previous vehicle clamped onto the top no problem and you were still able to adjust the main mirror.
Unfortunately we now have a new Ford Mondeo and if you fit the mirror you have to push back the main mirror in order to clamp on the caravan mirror.
Can any one suggest a caravan mirror that will fit onto the current main mirror? Thanks.
I've recently had a similar problem as the gap between the mirror glass and the plastic housing wasn't big enough for the clamp of the clamp-on mirrors to fit. I ended up getting ones with brackets which fit round the mirror housing top and bottom and fasten across the back of it with adjustable elastic straps. The make is Eco-Magnum, the have the required E mark on the back and they were £13.99 each from my local camping/caravan store.

Thanks. hopefully it wil do the trick. Looks like the current mirror is going to join the pile fo redundant mirrors.
Actually have one mirror almost brand new and the pads at the bottom of the screw in bit got lost as they just fell off somewhere so useless now. Wasn't a cheap mirror either!
I had the same problem, my mirrors were flush with the surround so none of the clamp on type would fit. I ended up buying the "Suck It and See" mirrors which work very well.
Oooh this reminded me I was going to order some new mirrors for OH for ch******s. Now, which ones did he like??? Im sure it was but then against could be something else

What make are the screw on ones you have?
Reason is I have some with the straps across the back that wont fit my car, so wondered whether you would consider a swop?

Graham a very good question. We have had the current mirror for about 5 years. It has two screw on clips at the top where it clamps onto the car mirror, a long arm with the mirror attached. It was used on our 4 x 4. The other mirror more expensive mirror is totally different but with the pads missing

I have the standard strap ones, that I used on the Freelander (sometimes!) but they wont fit on the Yeti due to the curvature of the mirror end, so you are welcome to those. They have hardly been used.
I am interested in the clamp on type as that is what other Yeti owners are recommending.
I'm on nights most of this week, but work near Ludlow. Where are you?
