We were booked on eurotunnel today for a day trip but turned round in view of the conditions in Surrey on M25.

If you ring EuroTunnel they will transfer your booking for you to next week at no charge !! Exceptional conditions mean your ticket IS amendable. Just changed mine to Tues. next week at no charge

We were due to try out our new to us caravan today and tomorrow, but getting it out of storage would be hazardous to one's health as the road to the site up an incline is like ice adn very slippery.

We were due to be away to the Edinburgh CC site this weekend - however we have over a foot of snow lying on our drive (probably nearer two), the main road outside our house has been white for two days so no go even although its only 20 miles to the site.

Not a lot we can do about it though!

Thought we had our van from far enough away - (Polesworth, Nr Tamworth to Dorchester, Dorset), but Bolton to Cornwall even beats us!  Is it from Penrose, Bill?  If the weather had been a little better you could have had a few days down there in it.  Enjoy the new van when it comes.

Tried to get to the farm site where my van is stored earlier today but got stuck in the lanes on way, sheet ice with snow on top!

Due to be at The Old Oaks near Glastonbury for the weekend, doesn't look very likely.
