Ours sometimes isn't checked inside for weeks & it's here at home ! Don't move it either unless we need to shift it to a diffent place for some reason.

We store ours an easy drive of 42 miles away and check it inside and out once every 6-8 weeks.
Haven't been since November 1st so will be going over there next week sometime.
Ours is an exceptional storage site, very secure with two dedicated washing bays and an air-line and hardcore standings and access roads. Owners live on site and we have every confidence in their ability to advise us promptly of anything untoward.
Storage sites in our immediate vicinity are not particularly thick on the ground and those that are around are prohibitively expensive eg nudging £600.00 at Welwyn Garden City........I've just paid £410.00 for 2011 and that's relatively cheap for hereabouts.
Hi, Store mine on driveway, not checked it for about 8 weeks,no access to one side as agains a wall,must move it back about 6 inches to rotate road wheels,and check handbrake not seized on,got mover so no excuse for not doing so.

We go to our caravan in storage 4- 6 weeks which is only 6miles away to change the salt pots . this seems to work did it last year and it sale straight through the damp course...
had a bit of time on my hands so seeing as we are using the van new years eve i thought i would pay it a visit.
why do i always get a mass of flies settling on the door hindges , must admit they all looked dead or asleep seeing as it was -3 . always clean around the hindges so it seems very strange as this used to happen on our previous van.
I can't leave it more than 4-5 days. Years of owning a boat leave me feeling restless if I let it go any longer. Flies, Ants, Mice, Damp, Ice, Snow, better check it sooner rather than regret it.
A boating pal of mine left his boat unchecked for a while one spring then came back to find a nest of a protected species at home in his Boom. The RSPB had got wind of this and wouldn't let him do anything to the boat 'till the birds had flown the nest!
