Could anyone recommend any sites that are open in the February school holidays (21/02) We like a site with some sort of entertainment on for our 11 year old daughter.

We live in the south Yorkshire area so we don't want to be travelling more than 80 mile.

Even sites that have entertainment/pub/shop/restaurants etc... on site proabably won't be open that early in the season or will have very limited opening times.
Most appear to open around the Easter holidays.

So sites that are near to a village and leisure centre would be good.

I don't know how far away it is to Allonby in Cumbria, but there's a few sites along the coast there, and Allonby has a leisure centre, a few pubs, etc. Lots to see and do nearby as well. There's a good one at Silloth as well. Not sure if any are open before March though.

Riverside Leisure Park at Banks Nr Southport Lancashire will be open, they have a huge touring area as well as statics, my mum and dad live on that site.  Thay have  a kids club, chippy, bar and night club, just a short drive 10 mins to Southport, or bus at site entrance.  It could be somthing to think about.
