It's time for our 'vans first service after our last van i am dreading the damp test (van is a year old so WILL be fine just panicking )
We are also moving our van to different more expensive storage for the sole reason that i don't like where it is (not the easiest of places to manoeuvre a van )not looking forward to letting the guy know about that either eeek!!!
Not too worried about damp my vans first service is due and booked April, my biggest worry if any is found in a 12 month van what excuse Sprite come up with to get out of it,possibly something like i have left my van outside too much, its a funny world
We too moved storage sites due to poor service and security and too expensive, just told them I had sold the van, picked it up and took it 2 a new cheaper cassoa gold site, much happier now
we had damp in our Abbey (we were unlucky with that van even had barriers hitting it lol )and tbh swift were really good they had no quibble over fixing it they wont try and get out of it as they dont want to lose customers
Our van is due its 1st service in 2 weeks time and although any problems should be covered under warranty, you can't help but think, what if?. You then have the inconvenience of booking it in to be repaired and that can take an age these days.
I have a damp meter ,that tels me all is ok ,and i have just moved my van from storage ,that i was not happy with ,just tell him you have found ,somthing ,that is more covenient for you ,if he dont like it tough ,
------------- May the roof of your camper
never fall in ,and the couple inside ,never fall out,

Just give them a call when you store the van at the new compound, and tell them as it is ... at the end of the day it's you that's parting with the money every month !
We moved our van to a new storage yard after the first yard became a pain in the rump. I moved the van first then wrote telling them I had cancelled the DD.
Even if you don't like your storage site management, there's no reason for not being courteous and at least giving them some notice that you're moving on even if they don't ask for it.
You don't have to give a reason for your action except to say that you have decided to try somewhere else. Remember you're the customer...........
