We're swapping vans in 4 weeks from a Coachman to a Compass.  The Coachman has an Alko chassis & Alko stabiliser.  We have an Alko Secure wheel lock, jack (with the bits you have to fit to the chassis to jack it up) & a hitch lock that's one of the square boxy type ones.

The Compass has a BPW Swing Tech chassis & a Winterhoff stabiliser.  Can anyone tell me whether the Alko jack will be compatible (needs two holes underneath apparently).  Also, will the wheel lock be OK & will the hitch lock fit a Winterhoff stabiliser?

The alko jack will not fit the BPW chassis without modification. Never tried it myself but my dealer gave me that advice when I was looking for a suitable jack to go with my BPW chassis. I use a trolley jack.

Thanks again everyone.  Looks like I'll need to source a hitch lock.  We've a wheel clamp from Halfords we can use if the Alko one doesn't fit so those 2 satisfy insurance requirements.

With the jack we'll have to figure it out once we get the van home.  Just hope we don't get a puncture on the way back from Worcestershire!
