hi,im looking at changing my van,ive seen a bailey provence series 6 and elddis odyssey 505 both 2007 the elddis is a bit more expensive, just wondered if anyone as experience of either of tse vans, any info much appreciated.
Reguarly get folks on here complaining about Bailey but not about Elddis. I have an Elddis...super van....mind you...buying a van is about layout, style, cost, weight ratios etc etc.....

------------- If you're not on a fell your wasting your feet and for 2014 it's.......Feb Castleton Mar North Yors Moors; Apr Sutton on Sea; May Thirsk; Jun Clapham/Riverside (Lakes); July Wharfedale; August Crakehall; Sept Knaresborough; Oct Wirral Park/Clitheroe
I've got an Odysey 505. It's our first van so I've no experience of any others, but it had the ideal layout for us, and I've yet to see a van I'd change it for.
I looked at the Bailey, i didnt like it, so went with the new Eldiss supersirroco, BUT i have my van on a seasonal pitch, i asked regarding servicing the bailey regarding this, torqueing the body bolts, they cant do this on site and therefore the warranty would be nil & void.even though the van dosent do a mile on the road, plus £350 a pop to do it! wot a laugh.
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
I would always go for the Elddis van much better quality not near so many problems as Bailey. You get what you pay for. Have an Elddis Crusader Storm cannot fault it after 5 years.
------------- Kia Sorento XS towing Elddis Crusader Storm.
had both , pros and cons with both ... the cupboard space / top locker space not on a par with Bailey , the quality and finish is better than bailey...but it will be as they seem heavier than a comparable bailey.
I have an Odyssey 505.Have to say it has been faultless.Great van and an ideal family layout.Ive dragged it all over France and into Spain with no problems at all.
