Hi,

Have got the Isabella magnum awning and am looking for a tall annexe, does it have to be the annexe especially made for this awning or will any other annexe fit?

Thanks

The annex made for the Ambassador series is too wide and does not fit. We have the tall one that was originally for the Penta and that fits our Magnum. Purchased in 2002.

I was told the Ventura one for their Magnum like annex fits.

If I was buying today I would not buy the tall one but go for the "Future". Whilst the Tall is in every respect a lovely annex the frame is very very heavy as its only available in steel and its a full frame structure. The annex takes as long to erect as the Magnum itself.
The "Future" is much simpler to put up with a single hoop aluminum "pram frame" and so is much lighter. It comes with its own inner tent.
So I suggest you revisit if you really do specifically want the Tall one.

Thanks for that, not really bothered about the frame as we are on a permanent pitch so it would only be put up once and left up, is the future model just as tall? Our awning is a 2009 model.

Spoke to the Isabella sales people at the show yesterday and they said you can fit a porch annexe to a porch and a full awning annexe to a full awning but not porch to full awning and vice versa, if u know what I mean. So we may be able to fit a ventura porch annexe, Dont want to pay out for something that wont fit

Do you think and older model annexe would fit still??

Thanks

On a seasonal pitch then as you say the issues of frame weight and erection time are no problem.

You need to be looking at the Ventura Annex 200, for the Marlin and Freestander awnings ; not the Annex 250 for the full awnings.

No the Future is not as tall as the Tall, here is a link:-

"Do you think and older model annex would fit still??"

Yes but dont risk any of this without phoning Isabella UK at Thame, they are very helpful.Tel.: 01844 20 2099 They ought to be able to confirm the Ventura annex fits; it was them that told me at an NEC when sorting options for a friend.

The older model, ours, has Acrylic sides like the awning itself. The new one is all coated polyester "roof" type sealed material. I dont think this makes much difference functionally, might be less condensation and was probably changed to save cost.
