Hi there, I would be grateful for some information on the above item.
I have just obtained an annexe from my dad as Im in the process of selling my other awning.which cannot take this type. I would like to know if apart from and NR sterling awning , is this annexe compatible with other NR and Non NR awnings.
help on this would determine what awning we will be buying so your knowledge on this particular subject would be highly appreciated.

Its not at all unusual for the annex to be specific to a particular model.
Differences in zip length and type are the factors.
Most awnings have annexes that will only fit that particular model.
They are almost never interchangeable between brands.
The exception is the universal annex, which ties onto the frame with straps rather than being zipped in. These need a U shaped zip out panel, but will not work with the upside down j type zip off panel .
I have the universal awning annexe too but didnt seem to work on my awning, as the side panel had to go into the channel. always found it dificult to get it to sit right, thats why thats on ebay at the moment! probably end up getting a whole new awning with annex included.
