We have an external BBQ point on our new van and the dealer gave us black tubing with jubilee clips.... I'm assuming we need some kind of connector for the end of the tubing to go into the brass thing on the van?
.....edited to add I've put a pic in my gallery, don't know how to put it on here!

Aparently these are standard external connectors, ask your camping shop (this is what I did at the weekend) , it cost about £3

If it's a new new van then it should come with the connector, have purchased 3 new vans in the past and all came with the connection. Have a word with the dealer I'm sure they will oblige

Yes, the dealer said he'd put the connector in a drawer but all we found was the tubing....we'll maybe pick one up tomorrow at the SECC show

Hi, Aks again, as conector may have been taken out for some reason, demonstration,or shortage, and was ment to be replaced before you took delivery of van.

can be bought cheap at most caravan dealers beware there are two types one for the slide up type opening to your gas point and the second if the access is by a hinged lift up door to your bbq point.

Got mine from ebay - if you search the usual ebay shops come up. I think mine is from Leisure Shop Direct on there. As posted there are two types, but the listing makes it clear depending on the slide up cover or the flip up type.

It looks like a little brass dog whistle, and is jubilee clipped into the end of the BBQ gas hose.
