Which width of porch awning will fit a Bailey 540/6 caravan?

Sorry for asking such a question, but we store our caravan away from home and I was hoping to purchase a lightweight awning to take away with us in a couple of weeks time. I’ve seen the SunnCamp Vision going for better than ½ price so thought it may be worth a try.

I’m hoping someone will know what size fits so that it doesn’t interfere with windows (or does it not actually matter having the awning ½ way across a window)?

As you may tell, we are new to caravanning so any useful advice is very welcome.

Thank you, Paul

I tried a porch awning and although they are very useful for weekend breaks (especially in bad weather) the bulging windows of our caravan meant that the fit against the caravan was not brilliant. Some models have padded poles and others have padded buffers. The only way to be sure is to measure the available space on your van. I did have a quick surf of the web to try to find the dimensions of your caravan but to no avail.

Sorry can't be of more help, perhaps a visit to your local dealer would be helpful.
