hi we have just got ourselves a 1987 Abbey Lancaster and after having a look around it/inside, we can't seem to find the location of the water filter, or indeed if there is one! The last 2 caravans we have owned had them, so just assumed this one would too.

any help much appreciated

Others might correct me but I don't think they were fillted to this model. I had a 1999 model based on the Oxford and that didn't have one.

Swift Group (Swift, Abbey, Sterling, Ace, and Sprite) have not fitted water filters for many years, at least 15.

I had an 1987 Abbey Somerset, it did not have a water filter. From my recollection non of the County range of that year had one fitted.
