Can anyone advise me on these 13 pin conversion adaptors?

I've seen an article somewhere that they were going to bring out a more compact version (no trailing leads), which I liked the look of.

Does anyone know where I might get one of these?

I currently have the 2 seperate plugs on my tow vehicle.

I have not heard of a converter from 2-1 plugs without any cable and it does seem fairly hard to do as it gives no flexibility and all cars would need the plugs in the same place.

I would seggest changing the sockets on your tow vehicle to a 13pin 1 piece of 12 core cable and a socket this can be done within an hour.

Then buy a 13-7n adaptor for towing other trailers and caravans this will only do road lighting but you probably will not need this very often.

for wiring this I have seen this diagram on the net 13pin wiring

i dont see how they can get away with shorter cables unless they are coiled as on heavy duty.

I found this. But the auxcillory plug stuff wouldn't function using this?

Has anyone done the electric swap over for themselves? I've been trying to map the wires across in the diagrams from the 7, S and N to the 13 pin plugs?

The first plug- N Plug is a straightforward match. However the S plug appears less straightforward due to the earths and batt/fridge connections?

Can anyone explain this in easy talk?
