Remove the bung at the bottom of the window (the one you can remove when the 2 panes get condensation between them) and suck it out with a vacumm?

possibly a very thin tube pushed into the window through the plug hole.the other end taped to a vacuum cleaner.

yep the bung is also inside the window dont know how it got in there not, had the van long so must have been like that when we got it
