I know questions on insurance have been asked many many times and i have used the search button to find loads of advice but i did not find and answers on seasonal pitch insurance.
Has anyone got any advice, and what do the insurance companys expect from me, i insure through the cc club and i think they only allow you 70 days away in one go
I have the usual locks and clamps, and when on seasonal pitch i will remove the hitch
What did you do to keep the insurers happy
have not contacted ins people yet??? will listen to your advice first
thanks
They want to know the post code of the site where your van will be kept, reason being , has it got cctv, is there a warden, has it got a barrier, and has it got wheelclamps, hitchlock, tracker if T/A. mine ins worked out very reasonable, with saga.
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
When we had a seasonal pitch and it was also stored there in the winter as well, we used 4site insurance. They were very reasonable as well because you print out your insurance documents from their website.
