give them a ring and there engineer will help.can you unscrew the base of it and then the shade will free off ? you should be able to see where it came from.switch off mains first.

Hi chriswright, Welcome to the forum, As michael has posted, Switch off AC Mains first ( or unplug if connected to van ) If toggle switch is bakelite with cord pull, there should be small screw at bottom of light (looks like a ball) on most vans, unscrew to lower light shade till clear of the holder below shade gently remove outwards, you should then see the bare wires 2 of them, on the light back plate there should be a small protruding peice of metal (or some kind of holder) should be about half way up light on right side, this is usualy where they are on most vans, wire pushes in to the  holes with the wire grip or screws in the switch,(one in each) when wire connected the switch should be next to the protruding connector, or holder (they are usualy push fit through the body of switch), If you have toggle switch with the metal/plastic lever, it may have a small retaining screw cap to hold lever in place, replace lever and screw on cap, Test and be careful as it is AC.If that dosent work then new switch may be needed.

If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.

John
