The days are getting longer and it is (currently) much warmer and I am now getting desperate to go away. Unfortunately the next few weekends we have stuff on so we can't go away. Do you think it is time so me to put everything back in the van for this year, go on, say yes Then we can go away the next available weekend!!
Oooooh yes - go for it. If only we could but we haven't picked up van yet - if we had I would be heading off right now!

Purchased our newish van at the beginning of Jan and, like you, are getting very itching feet. May go away next weekend, beginning of half term week. If it wasn't for kids/school i'm sure we would have gone by now.
well i have found an excues allmost every day this wek to sit in the van but we dont actuly have any plans to go away till june unless more camping weekends apper for racing

Ooo - I don't think I could wait until June - I'd have a look for somewhere, Fallenangel, and bring those plans forward.

I know i am going crazy allready but tere not many normal sites i can take all teh dogs to so have to wait but there ususly some weekends at short notice we can go to think there might be one in april i hope

We've just bought ours home today from storage to get ready for a long weekend next week and we're just comtelplating going for the following weekend as well! Then we'll have to wait til Easter! Been a long time since October!
Mine had a service this week so while it was empty, I have completely cleaned the inside today. The sun was shining while I sat with my cuppa, feet up on the sofa. Oh how I long to start going away again. Just need the weather to be a bit warmer

That's just a sign of poor management, Helen. It should read " Unfortunately the next few weekends we have holidays so we can't stay at home to do anything".
We were sat in a garden centre last Saturday looking out over the Wolds. The sun was shining and, in fact, it was a rare frost and snow free day. The little lady dialled up the net on her phone and found the weather for this last week in Sandringham and the Peak district. Sandringham looked the better option so we went straight from the garden centre to storage and picked up the caravan to take home to put all the furniture back in, give it a clean, test the services etc. and then booked Sandringham for the week.
Nice to be back in harness. Got the itchy feet sorted. Get yourself organised and get away, Helen.
