hi everyone.

just back from starting the annual spring clean and am worried that i might have discovered mildew on caravan curtains. looks like small grey spots in patches only on front window curtains. they dont feel damp but because of severe winter we haven't had any ventilation. anyone know how to remove the spots.

ps. curtain label says dry clean only

You can remove mildew with white spirit on a cotton bud from one side, pressed against an absorbent pad(kitchen towel) on the other.  No guarantee that there will not be colour change, and you will need to wash/clean afterwaeds to remove the smell--you might get away with a good airing.
