Hi,
I visited my storage recently and discovered that my caravan (unlike everyone elses) was covered in green on the back of the van and looked filthy. I realise it has sat over the winter but when I looked around at other vans none seemed to have attracted the mouldy green look like mine. I wondered if anybody could tell me why this is or what I can do to stop it. I did wonder whether there is some special caravan polish that could be applied to stop this happening. Any thoughts?
Hi,
Thanks both. Yes my caravan is under a tree at the back which obviously is not helping. We also had not been out in the van for 3 or 4 months at least I guess. I shall get some of the cleaning fluid you suggest and give that a go. Many thanks. Chrissy
The stuff above is a protector for when your about to put the caravan to bed for winter, the Fenwicks cleaner is in a yellow container, and they also do a Bobby dazzler rinse which helps with the rinsing off of fly swats and road grime the next time you wash it. we use both when we wash our van and although a bit pricey initially, they are well worth the money as a bottle lasts a long long time.

We've just used Bobby Dazzler on our van, so keen to see what difference it makes when we take the van out on Friday! Does it help to deter fly/road grime or does it just make it eaier to remove on next wash?
Here is a link to stuff I bought at the Scottish camping and caravan exhibition last week. Have not had a chance to use it but the queue in front of me were all repeat users/orders. £10 a tub. It was first called Skippers Choice but they have re-branded to 'Pampervan' There is a video presentation in the link.
