at my post on how contracts work in terms of seeking to avoid any liability. First you need to show that if you do have problem the site owners, rather than exclusively someone else, did something wrong. Then look at your contract.
Many a time its a case of just forgetting liability issues and just claim on your insurance. Saves the heartache of fretting over arguments. Your Insurers pay up and you move on. If there is any chance of a claim against storage then your insures follow it up to recover their losses. Same really when some chap ran his car along the side of mine and left. Insurers paid and I had the benefit of paying £200 excess for something I had not done. That's life.
