No - I can't say that I do. Mine still has the same battery I put in 3 seasons ago!

Are you packing it in such a way that the buttons are being squashed?

If not, I would say it is faulty and you need a replacement.

Mine too still has the battery that came with it will be four years this coming July. When the van is not being used as when at home I do take the battery out of the remote, I also carry a spare PP3 9v battery

Just changed my van, so mover in new, but old one traded in had same battery after 5 years!  Do remember if you are caught out you are supplied with an unbiliucal cord so you can run the mover from the vans battery via the wire!

We have been running it from the wire as the remote keeps failing, just can't work out why. Using duracell batteries too!

Yes Brian you are right I have my umbilical chord gaffer taped to the battery box under the seating right next to the Powrtouch electronics box, just in case.

By the way our battery box is outside in a locker with the control for mover.

My battery box is an external locker with the master switch, but in the van under the seat is the other side of the battery box with the charger beside it. I mounted the powrtouch control box next to it, the u/cord plugs into the control box near the LED lights and into the handset, it`s long enough to pass out through my window.
