I've posted here a few times recently as we bought our first van a few weeks back. having never towed etc, it was all a little new.
Just back from a local first weekend away in it. Got hitched up, didn't hit anything, got fully setup and had a great couple of days, got packed up and home again safely.
Just wanted to say thanks to everybody who has helped me over the last few weeks.
Sure there are more questions coming but wanted to keep you posted!!
glad you enjoyed your few days away with no hiccups it gets easier as you go along ,theres always the advice you need here if your stuck but soon you will be advising with the rest of us !!!!
Glad it all went well. Its one of the strengths of forums in that it can provide a lot of quick answers. It won't be long before you are advising others
I have to agree with Ian, THis last weekend was also my first trip out with the caravan (we have been caravaning before as children) and the trip was stress free, and really pleasant.
And mainly due to advice found on here, either where I asked or where someone else asked the same question.
All advice given on here, as David says, is quick. But it is also polite and not patronising.

Hi, Totally Ageree, Glad all went well,gald you all enjoyed your trip, this is now getting into the most dangerous time of the year, when we all get the caravan bug, so make yoyr lists,stock up,pack van ready to take on this bug. OH and Have a good time.
