Hi Michael, The "clubs" do not have a policy on what fluids are used.
It is up to individual sites and the type of sewage system they have.
The green fluids can be used on all sites but the blue can only be used on some sites.
We got caught out at the Kilkerran Site when we only had the blue & pink and they insisted on the Green Only. But as I stated earlier, they had plenty of the Green, it just meant that we had to find a space for 3 bottles instead of 2.
Thanks everyone! I have decided that I will go for the single type for both flush and waste (Top & Tail?) seems to be worth doing. Will do a bit surfing for prices now!
A few years back, I was faced with one CCC site (Delemere I think!) asking me only to use the green fluid which I didn't have of course, so we used the facilities on site rather than onboard. I suppose now that ALL products are sold without Formaldehyde in them it is OK to use blue as well but the "one bottle does all" sounds a good idea!
Thanks
Kevin B

Hi Birder99,
Have read with great interest the article on formaldehyde and I think it makes a very good point re the reason site holding tanks fail due to volume of solid waste matter per litre in RV holding tanks.
I worked on oil and Gas plants in the Tunisian and Saudi desert and the sewage "farms" we installed to process the incoming sewage and produce solid waste and "pure" water for irrigation of land, didn't in the early construction phase work properly, however when the plant manpower eventually dropped to the low level operations crew that it was designed for it worked a treat!
Even on this evidence however I have decided a one bottle does all is best even if more expensive.
Thanks Kevin B

Tend to use the blue -it seems to do a better job. Had some green years ago and was not really that impressed. Might try it again though in case it's got better.
I always thought that the dark blue colour was to camouflage the 'solid matter' for the squeamish who don't like to see the results of the human digestive system.
