Hi all

I was going to build a teardrop camper but have now bought a small old caravan. Cosalt Piper off ebay for £166 real bargain needs a few things doing like window trims toilet room needs decorating, and my mum has made curtains and cushion covers for her Daisy is her name lol. The caravan that is not my mum. I also need to paint the battery box and put a new door lock on her. I also got an awning from preloved for £20 buy need a corner pole connector for it does any one know where i can get one? Cant wait for my first outing with Daisy. I am previously a tent camper and looking forward to the luxury of Daisy. Also she used to have a bunk at the back and am trying to find one to put back in. All help greatly appreciated.

I well remember the 'Cosalt Piper' our first caravan, sounds like you have put in some time and effort into getting the caravan updated and hope you get as much pleasure out of using it as the work you have put in.

You will probably get the awning corner pole connector from any good camping shop.Ask around some second hand caravan dealers not the bigger ones as you might find a caravan that they can not sell or scrapped to find your bunk.

Don't forget to get the gas system checked! Things work loose over the years! Otherwise you could go into orbit!

If you join The Camping & Caravanning Club you'll get your £37's worth back in no time!

Happy caravanning!
