I am looknig at getting the van out of storage ready for the season.
It is kept at a indoor storage unit, but it still gets a little dusty etc.
Before it was put away for the winter i cleaned it well and covered it in Fenwicks overwintering.
I would like to give it a good polish and wax.
Any suggestions on which products to use and where to get them from.
I use showroom shine from grease lightning its a waterless wash and wax and it protects everything.Just spray on the dirt no need to wash,i really like this product, look out for it on ideal world as its half price compared from buying it direct from grese lightning.LINK
funny I washed ours yesterday ,I used autoglym shampoo and for any stuburn marks I used 'silky'about £3.50 i think from any caravan dealer ,that stuff shifts anything .I have got some autoglym polish which brings it up a treat ,will probably do that next time .

Jeff, I have never had the confidence to try this on a car, is it as good as u say?
Bill it is absolutily brilliant..I did not belive it myself, the wife ordered it from ideal world. The car was filthy and she sprayed a small amount on the bonnet ( i had the gun on stand by ) It came up brill, then she did the full bonnet/car..NOT a scratch and what a SHINE..I use it on everything car, van, her windows,I cant praise this stuff enough and have told every body about it.It was developed in america and the yanks have been using it for years..tell you what..if it scratches your shogun,i will give you mine, thats how much i love it..go get some.
Well you've sold it to me! Thinking of getting some... One question, do you have to use a lot of muscle/elbow grease to get a shine? Reason I ask is that I have a shoulder impingement at the mo, pretty painful and no muscle or elbow grease to spare!
Ideal world currently selling two for the price of one here is that a decent price as it's pretty pricey elsewhere!
Jax its sooooooooo easy to put on and take off,Just adjust the nozel so that it pumps out a spray.I should get a job with them..lol.When its sold on ideal world you get 2 one ltr bottles and sometimes they give you a freebie,i got their stain remover free and tried it on a curry stain on our dinette chair,we tried everything to remove it and the results were amazing.Been using this product for over a year and would not use anything else.. Buy it from ideal world its cheaper..
