Hi all, does any one own one of these or had one in the past. Obviously German quality is second to none but in this instance as a light-weight van I'm not sure. At 750kg there can't be much to them.
Residual is also a concern.

Hi, we don't have one, but we did go to look at one. Depends what you want, I reckon if you're young and into mountain biking it would be great for throwing your bikes and anything else under the raised bed in front of where the whole front lifts up. They are clearly designed for the outdoor sporty type who won't do much lounging in the van.We didn't buy the dealer put it on Ebay but it was unsold then re listed. There are just 2 of us (50 something) and we finished up buying a T at b 400L took us ages to find one - a second hand 2008 model. Its the one with a fixed double bed with electric window over the bed and a wet room, built to excellent German quality and the residuals are brilliant we bought our 2008 model in August last year and one same year same spec has just gone for £2,000 more. The 400L's are like hens teeth second hand hence the residual value I think. They are not to everyones taste, but they do have a bit of a cult following. Worth a look if you're after something German quality, a bit different and want a bit of comfort too. Oh the 400L is 1000KG unladen. Pics on my profile.
We have looked at the Campy and I love them although they wouldn't suit us at the moment as our teenage son comes camping with us. I think as chrisneil says they are more suited to couples who don't spend much time actually in the van. They usually have some at the caravan place near East Bridgford in Nottingham (can't remember name!) but if you decide to have a look give them a ring first to make sure. I just love the compact size and we could probably fit one in our garage.
