 I would like to leave my caravan on site between weekends but have found that my Insurance company say that i am not insured unless i let them know where the caravan is being left,and possibly an admin charge may apply for them to alter my policy.

Has anybody had the same problem

I've never had need to do this, but I'm sure this is fairly normal practice for most policies judging from those I looked at when sorting our insurance.

The cover is normally provided for main storage location (be it commercial storage or residence), plus cover when away from home and in use. It would be argued that you're changing the storage location, therefore effecting the standard terms of your insurance.
