I bought a 1999 caravan from a dealer in late November last year with a 12 month warranty. Having used the caravan for the first time this week it was found that the front offside window has become delaminated and has split between the inner & outer panels. Can these Polyplastic windows be repaired or will it require a complete new window with the CRIS number etched on it?
Well I am going to ring the dealer tomorrow to see if they will accept the repair or replacement under the warranty but just in case they don't I wondered if I could possibly do the job myself and with what sort of suitable bonding was required in order to make a successful permanent repair.
