I opened the blinds this morning to find a fantastic morning here in Dorset. The sun is shining, it is simply beautiful. I looked at the dog, he looked back with the look of "come on then, what are we waiting for". I dressed and set off for the river. It was stunning, the sun reflecting off the river, the birds singing, A heron sitting watching the world go by.
A hour had passed so Bailey (My staff/Old tyme bulldog cross) my faithful friend reluctantly decided we should head back for a little bit of breakfast, Eggs, Bacon, Black pudding etc, which the wife was kindly preparing. I swear, I could smell it before I got to the front door along with the wonderful strong smell of coffee. It's times like this that makes caravanning wonderful.!!
Unfortunately, I am at home and just about to set off for work. So to all of you who are away at the moment, enjoying a great site, some fantastic weather (at last!) I am very jealous of you all and have to wait until Easter for my first trip away in the van.
I wish you all though a lovely break!!
------------- Caravanners do it with a stabilizer!
yes we are the same here torrential rain this morning loads of local flooding but eerily warm, the weather is getting crazy, you dont know what your getting ,puddles that are knee deep dogs that are mingin constantly ,and gale force winds just to make sure the filthy water gets right into their coats, but we can all dream of walking through a sunny caravan site in the morning and the smell of a fry up and coffe from nearly every van, hope its not long till you are away paul and you do get what you dream off
