never caravanned before first time purchase

seen a abbey piper 15.5EX 1992 cw awning for 2750.00 ono

going to look later this week along with my B & Q dampmeter!!

anyone got any tips on what to look for etc..

Is it from a dealer or private ? if private i'd say unless it's in top nic it's well over priced . See some Here .
Damp meter wise sharpen the probes needle sharp with a file , they need to penetrate the wall board covering to measure any damp / moisture in the wood .
And check everywhere , high, low, behind seating , around window , the ceiling , along edges , down corners , around the door , thoroughly around the front windows .

the caravan was at a garage selling it for someone!!

if private is the best way to get a better deal on a caravan , apart from local paper , can anyone recommend a website to see some private caravans locally?

say within a 50-75 mile radius?
