Hi, No, But mate had his AL-KO AKS2004 stabiliser stolen, and the thief replaced it with the normal hitch, He Did not put the Hitch lock On (Van was in storage at time), £200+, bet the thief will buy the hitch lock for it,so it will not happen to him.------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.

Unfortunately, yes.
In a car park in Dawlish, other cars had theirs left so obviously they were after the Al-ko one!

The flipper tow ball cover stops the thieving bu**ers but they need 'adjusting' with a file to enable them to clear the top of the ball. They provide a nice clean cover that is easy to use and does not get lost. They sometimes appear on ebay as people do not realise that they can be made to fit Alko type towballs with the extended neck. ------------- 'A sure cure for sea-sickness is to sit under a tree'

Yes and a replacement cost me £5 so I only put it on when going abroad. I just use an old [smaller] cover that keeps the ball clean but looks 'naff'.
It is pathetic what some people will steal. makes me sad.
