We had an Ecocamel Orbit head in our caravan as standard and a totla waste of time and effort. Cannot have a decent shower with it especially if washing your hair. We changed it for a standard shower head and very little differenc ein water consumption as did not have to stand under shower for a long time to get soap off again.
On our next caravan we did nto even bother with it and changed it straight away. A gimmick that does not work.

BTW this thread is nearly 7 years old!

Thats a shame we have found ours excellent and as I said I have measured the water saving and its considerable . We live on a boat so water consumption is quite important . We have had ours for about a year now and have been very pleased with performance . I understand that they fit them as standard on many high spec caravans and motorhomes .

Not a lot of effort involved in screwing on a shower head too I found it quite easy not at all tiring.

We have tried one of these shower heads at home due to low water presure in the area, it did give the illusion of a more powerful flow, but we disliked the fact that by adding air, it took twice as long as a conventional showerhead to rinse shampoo and conditioner out of hair due to the reduced amount of actual water flowing through the EcoCamel head.

We ended up fitting a shower pump in the end to give a better flow. We use a cheap multi head in the caravan and switch it off between lathering up all over and rinsing, hence saving water that way and maintaining a decent flow

We have one that came as standard in our Challenger Sport.

It's excellent - and if my wife likes it that's saying something. Showers for both of us and still over half an Aquaroll left, though we are quicker than in a shower block.
